Things that make you go huh?

When you live in a house that is 120 years old you inherit 120 years of other people's "improvements".  As you walk around the house you just shake your head wondering "what were they thinking".  In some cases people who know history can explain some of it.  Like in the basement there is a mud pit, we were told that is where they killed the animals for dinner since the kitchen use to be in the basement.....I stopped asking people for their thoughts after that....if you want to see that, you have to come visit the house.  Anyway here are some pics of things that will make you go WTF?
